Software Engineer · AI & Full-Stack

01Professional summary

I’m a software engineer with 5+ years in production systems. I’m full-stack by background and now work mainly on AI and backend. I own the backend and multi-agent AI layer of a live generation platform built in Python. Alongside it, I led the front end of a multi-vendor marketplace, and before that I worked on the core of an enterprise ERP platform with multi-million-row datasets. Day to day: Python, Laravel/PHP, Vue, React and PostgreSQL.

03Professional experience

Backend & AI Systems Engineer · Muqnea

Full-time · Damascus, Syria

May 2025 – Present

  • I own the backend and AI layer of the platform: Python microservices, queue-backed workers and the multi-agent pipeline that drives generation.
  • I designed the pipeline around specialised agents that hand off schema-validated structured output. Everything downstream renders the same way every time, instead of being parsed back out of free text.
  • I cut generation cost by 82% and brought time to first output down to 15–30 seconds, with quality measured at 91% on the internal rubric. Three changes did it together: routing each step to the smallest model that passes its eval, caching stable prompt prefixes and running steps in parallel.
  • I scaled coverage to 30+ domain profiles, so one pipeline serves every sector and company model the platform supports (B2B, B2C, B2B2C), with no per-client engineering.
  • I replaced a workflow that took two to three days of manual expert effort with an automated path that finishes in under ten minutes.
  • I built and maintain the platform API: versioned REST endpoints with authentication and rate limiting, used by the product front end and by internal services.
  • I designed the platform to scale: stateless services, queue-based workers, Redis caching and partitioned PostgreSQL. It sustains high daily generation volume and is sized for a user base in the millions.

Frontend Developer · Pazar Pro · IRIS

Part-time · Damascus, Syria

August 2025 – August 2026

  • I led the front end of Pazar Pro, a free-zone multi-vendor marketplace covering B2B, B2C and B2B2C selling, and built both the vendor-facing and the customer-facing interfaces.
  • I built the storefront, vendor dashboards and multi-store administration as a component-driven SPA, with role-scoped interfaces for vendors, store administrators and platform administrators.
  • I kept catalogue and reporting screens responsive as the data grew, using pagination, virtualised lists, memoised selectors and client-side caching.
  • I helped on the backend wherever the front end needed it — endpoint shape, response contracts and data modelling for the marketplace flows — working alongside the backend team.
  • I delivered through to handover in August 2026.

Freelance Web Developer · Independent

Freelance · Remote

May 2024 – May 2025

  • I delivered three production systems solo: a clinic management system (patient records, scheduling, billing, reporting), a transportation management platform (fleet scheduling, route tracking, operational reporting) and an enterprise CMS.
  • I owned every stage on each one: requirements, schema design, REST API, SPA front end, deployment and post-launch support.
  • I worked directly with non-technical clients in healthcare, logistics and content operations, turning how they actually worked into a system they could run themselves.

Full-Stack Developer · Be In Media

Full-time · Damascus, Syria

March 2024 – May 2024

  • I took over the HR and payroll module and brought it to a stable state, working through defects in the existing implementation and correcting workflows that were producing wrong results.
  • I built REST APIs and Vue.js SPA screens inside an established Laravel HMVC codebase, following the conventions already in place instead of adding new ones.
  • I traced and fixed the performance problems on the heaviest screens: slow queries, repeated requests and missing caching.

Full-Stack Developer · Minaret · AL-MOTKAMEL Global Co.

Full-time · Damascus, Syria

August 2022 – March 2024

  • I was a core engineer on Minaret, a complete ERP platform for enterprise operations rather than a single system. I worked on the shared core instead of isolated features, so every change had to hold across the whole platform.
  • I worked the data layer at multi-million-row scale: composite indexing, partitioning and query rewrites. I also moved heavy reporting logic into database stored procedures, which cut both the cost of repeated report calls and the round trips behind them.
  • I led the full redesign of Akar, a real-estate management system, re-architecting the backend services and rebuilding the interface.
  • I built Vue.js SPA clients against shared REST APIs, and held the codebase to SOLID through code review, written documentation and a consistent component architecture.

Junior Freelance Developer · Independent

Freelance · Remote

January 2021 – January 2022

  • I built and delivered web apps for small businesses end to end — requirements, database design, implementation and deployment — in PHP, Laravel, Vue.js and MySQL.
  • My first work directly with clients: scoping what was actually needed, shipping to deadlines and supporting what I delivered.
